Hello everyone, I am hoping for some advise.

I am potentially looking to buy an existing laundromat. This of course entails doing research. One item I cannot seem to really figure out is cost of new machines. Let me explain why this is important to me.

When doing the financials on this deal, I already know that the machines are 7yo and from what I understand lifetime of these are apx. 15 years. So of course the cost of replacing these machines need to be included in the running cost.

Basically what is the cost of a. 20lbs, 40, 60 and dryers. Also is there an install and take away old machines fee or is that included in the price of the new machine?

Any comments, hints would be greatly appreciated.

Prices have increased dramatically since the pandemic. I just purchased 10 soft mount 40lb machines and the cost was $120K not including installation. 2 years ago I bought 2 hard mount 60 lb machines for $22k, but I am certain they are more now. I would guess 20lb machines are 4-6K and 80lbers approaching 18K. 30 lb stacks are about $9k last I heard. You may have to pay the installer to take the old equipment away. hope that helps.
