Buying land vs lease

Hello Everyone,

I am in the early stages of looking into purchasing a laundromat. By the end of the year I will have what I need to purchase a laundromat.

I understand high level the pros and cons of operating with a lease vs owning the land, but what are peoples opinions on this?

To add some context I live in the Charlotte, NC area and leases are extremely high and with the way the economy is going don’t see them slowing down anytime soon.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
