Welcome, I new here also. I’m moving forward with signing a lease on a Laundromat now. Looking to open on March 1st. The laundromat I’m looking at is great but the lease is super high. About $7k a month. I’m very scared I won’t be able to attract enough customers to make it work.

I’m looking into adding every extra revenue stream possible. Maybe even a ABC liquor license so I can pour customers beer. Ive heard of place that have that sort of situation.

Welcome. Exciting emotional times for you I bet. 7k a month? That’s ugly. Are you still going through due diligence?

I don’t know about the liquor idea but I can tall you that thinking / hoping on the possibility of adding WDF is equivalent to making a purchase on potential. Hard to put a meaningful number on that.

We’ve dealt with our fair share of inebriated customers at my mat over the course of 15+ years. The personalities have ranged from pleasant and funny at times to rude obnoxious with hints of violence. Seems like alot to have to deal with especially as a new owner. Give it some good thought there. Good luck.
