Hi, my name is Leah. I just started a vending business last October. While searching for ideal vending machine locations, I stumbled upon the Laundromat Resource YouTube channel, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m focusing on passive/nearly passive streams of income, as I am physically disabled. Ideally, I would like to have my vending machines placed inside my laundromat(s), for the sake of convenience. Would use my vending profits to pay off credit card balance, so that I can qualify for a better loan, to purchase a laundromat. Looking forward to learning all that I can!

Hi Leah and welcome to the family
This can be a great idea. These two businesses can definitely complement each other.
I don’t know what your disability is so I would like to suggest that you spend some time time in a laundromat to see if you can really handle it. To be successful in the laundromat business, at least in your first one, you have to be very hands on.
Talk to Jordan about it and listen to more podcasts to get a better feeling of the business.
Best of luck

Hi Sam!
Thanks so much for the welcome! I have multiple sclerosis, and am in a wheelchair… but I do have a very strong support system— to include my able-bodied brothers, and my able-bodied children 😄
I received my diagnosis in 2008, so unfortunately, my kids have had to grow up witnessing my health decline. But I believe that it is for this reason, that they’re willing to help me with these endeavors. They see that I’m trying to establish generational wealth, and they like that my vision allows us to remain close knit (I have four children—two adults, one teenager, and one tween… I homeschool my younger two, to accommodate my busy schedule of specialist appointments, without sacrificing their education.)
We were all living together, even before Covid happened, so our living arrangement has remained unchanged… which is super convenient, considering we’ve got quite a few vending machines in our possession, already! 😃 so yeah, we’re certainly no strangers to taking risks! 😆
I’ve been hooked on Jordan’s podcasts! I listen every chance I get! So I’m quite excited to get involved!

Hi Leah! And welcome. I agree with Sam……Jordan has strung together some amazing hosts and amazing stories on the podcasts! I actually have a notebook in my truck dedicated specifically to the nuggets that I learn and that resonate while listening to them. I will pull over and take notes from time to time so that I do not depend on my feeble memory to recall them.
Best of luck in your endeavors!

Hi, Leah. I admire your courage and vision. May I share this quote about perseverance?
